SOFTWARE - Allen Tracker

The AllenTracker software package allows fully automated auditing of all operator actions on the Allen Coding range of thermal coders.  It does this in a way that conforms to the FDA's 21-CFR-part-11 directive and so can be used in environments requiring the highest level of accountability (such as the pharmaceutical industry).  In addition to the requirements of 21-CFR-part-11, AllenTracker also provides full access control right down to specific users and command level.

Key Features

  • All command parameters that can modify a coders settings are audited and verified for parameter value and status of the coder following the execution of the command.

  • The audit trail is held in a Microsoft SQL Server database and benefits from the security of SQL Server.

  • AllenTracker is easy to use.

  • AllenTracker supports the creation of a virtually limitless number of user types each of which specify which commands a given user type can execute.

  • Users / Operators must logon to the system using a username and password known only to themselves.

  • In addition to other items, the audit trail logs, the command executed,  full name of the operator, date and time, and the coder involved.

  • AllenTracker currently supports the International English and Dutch languages, but can readily be updated to support any UNICODE language.

  • AllenTracker consists of six small applications that are easy to use.

    1. System Manager: Used to configure system wide settings such as password policies, company name etc.

    2. Equipment Manager: Used to tell AllenTracker where the equipment lives on the system.

    3. User Type Manager: Used to define types of operators, and actions permitted.

    4. User Manager: Used to add users / operators to the AllenTracker system and to specify what type of user they are.

    5. Logger: Application for auditing of user / operator actions.

    6. Viewer: Used to view, print and export the audit trail.
